PhD Position College Student Scholarship in Landscape and Environmental Planning

The College Student Scholarship selected candidates will be registered as students of ETH Zurich / PhD FCL, but the research will be based in Singapore during the period of doctoral degrees. The team of researchers who worked on "Landscape and Ecology" module will be trained jointly by the Senior Researcher and Post Doctoral researcher with proven knowledge of relevant research fields. PhD students will join a research team living in Singapore, working on complex interdisciplinary projects at the interface of landscape and ecology and computer simulation. Interviews for the position will be held either in Singapore or Zurich. This College Student Scholarship position will start on 3.1.2012 or flexibly thereafter.

Qualification

Thus, the College Student Scholarship successful candidate to work at the interface Landscape and Ecology Module and Simulation Platform FCL, will need to have a good academic education (Masters) in environmental sciences (quantitative), strong background in economics and social empirical research, and understanding in science political.
